Well Mickey, this afternoon I had some time to relax and came back to visit the photos you have of my African Adventure. WOW! You really did a fantastic job of presenting them. I look at some of the photos and wonder what people are thinking about when they view them. It was great to revisit this incredible journey. I am very proud of my photos. This September it will already be a year! Mahalo.

Thank you for all of your wonderful comments regarding my photos. If I can inspire just one person with my photos to follow their dreams, that would mean the world to me. This journey took me over half a century to make happen. We all have "things" happening in our lives i.e.: school, marriage, children, parents, jobs, grandchildren which become our excuses for not following our dreams. I did not want to regret not making the effort to make my dream come to life. It was tuff, but worth every second. Would I do it again? YOU BET!

Aloha Brandy and everyone that has taken the time to look at my photos of my African Adventure. I had taken approximately 7000 photos during the month I was gone. I gave Mickey all of my photos. Mickey took many patient hours of his time and chose photos he liked and made this amazing web site to share my passion of photography and Africa with everyone. Brandy, there are so many incredible places I visited and stories I can share about the month I traveled from Kenya to South Africa. I am hoping to be able to spend some hours on a rainy Maui weekend (so I won't feel guilty about being on the computer on my days off) and put some stories with the photos.
P.S. I did enter some of the photos on the National Geographic My Shot web site.

Mahalo,

Aloha and thank you for sharing such wonderful photos! I have always wanted to go on an African Safari and your photos have ingrained in me my true desire. Your photos rival those in National Geographic! It really looks like a beautiful place with so much to experience. I would love to know some of the back stories of some of the photos. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I would suggest the meat counter at Lahaina Farms and BBQ it yourself. I like the Rib Eye cut. If that is out of the question than I would try Ruth Cris on front street.

I'm wondering what your advice might to be to get a "good" steak on Staurday? I won't be going to a TS Restaurant (Leilanis on the Beach or Kimo's on Front Street) that is for sure!
